How to become Screenwriters?

If you want to write film or animated film scripts, there are some great channels available at your fingertips.

Screenwriting is a topic on which countless books have been written, but to be honest, I believe that YouTube is the most important platform where theoretical and practical information about screenwriting and storytelling can be found.

Probably the most comprehensive resource on this subject on YouTube is the Film Courage channel.

Although I have been following this channel for years, I only recently noticed that their videos also have Engish subtitles. However, I don’t know if all the videos have them, and to be honest, I’m not sure about the quality of the subtitles. They’re probably machine-translated.

The content generally progresses in an interview format. They talk with screenwriters and writers who focus on storytelling. They release both the full interviews and select portions where they highlight specific topics.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that they are trying to gather all the knowledge that can be taken from books written on this subject under one roof. The fact that their channel has over 6,000 content-rich videos is proof of this.

Apart from Film Courage, I will recommend three more channels that also focus on screenwriting:
  1. Behind The Curtain
  2. Lessons From the Screenplay
  3. Script Sleuth

The team behind the Lessons from the Screenplay channel has been working on the following channel for quite some time:

Beyond the Screenplay
